Jeff Sherron: President
Mr. Jeff Sherron is a state-certified general
contractor. He began his construction career 34 years ago
in the field progressively working his way up from
superintendent to estimator then on to vice president and
director of field operations for two different construction
companies. He created Southern Building Services based on
this knowledge.
His primary experience has focused on design build,
construction management, financial institutions, retail
sales space, medical facilities, commercial and theme park
construction projects. Project experience includes schools,
fire stations, hospitals, shopping centers, malls and
multi-story office buildings.
Specializing in interior build-outs and finishes, Jeff has
extensive experience working with major banking
institutions and theme parks where he has provided
construction services for renovations and interior
finishes.
He also offers experience in HRS, having completed a number
of projects in healthcare and related medical facilities
construction. He obtained this expertise while working his
way up the ranks.
His “Vision” has guided the company to the level it is at
now and continually extends to a stable growth and
continued development and maturity of the company.
Gary Walkley: Senior Project Manager
Mr. Gary Walkley has 26 years of experience in the
industrial commercial, and tilt up industries. He has been
on our team here at Southern Building Services, Inc. for 2
½ years. Gary has worked on several notable projects in the
state of Florida. He has a vast variety of experience an
all phases of construction including turn-key, as well as
interior build-out, design build, and tilt up projects up
to 4 stories. He is highly successful in developing
relationships with subcontractors from the beginning to the
end to bring projects to completion on time and under
budget. He has the ability to schedule every detail of each
project to ensure a timely completion, as well as the
ability to meet owner’s expectations for a satisfactionary
finished project.
Key Personnel
Greg Faulkner: Superintendent
Mr. Greg Faulkner has
been with Southern Building Services, Inc. for eight years.
He brings over 16 years experience as a construction
supervisor in virtually every phase of commercial and
industrial construction. Greg has a strong back ground in
carpentry and a sharp eye for detail. Greg, like all our
employees, will accept only the best of work from start of
construction through to the finishes.
Brett Soward: Superintendent
Mr. Brett Soward
brings 27 years of construction experience to Southern
Building Services, Inc. Brett’s experience makes him an
excellent asset to us, as he has extensive knowledge and
know how to perform a vast number of duties. Brett has
worked in several areas of the construction field including
nuclear plants, tilt up, train stations, theaters, and
theme parks.
Charles Ruiter: Superintendent
Mr. Charles Ruiter
brings 6 years of construction experience to Southern
Building Services, Inc. Charley’s experience and education
in the construction industry make him a key person to our
team. He has carried out a large number of tasks ranging
from Foreman to Crew Leader to Superintendent learning a
great number of skills in each position. He holds utmost
regards to safety, leadership, and productivity of the crew
on each project, to ensure that the project runs smoothly.
He monitors the quality standards of building practices of
subcontractors on each project and reports all elements of
the project to the Project Manager to achieve positive
communication in all areas of the Southern Building
Services, Inc. team.
Mike Hardy: Superintendent
Mike has been working
with the company for almost three years now bringing over
thirty years of experience to us. Mike runs his jobs with a
great emphasis on perfection, ensuring each project is
completed on schedule with a quality product. Mike is also
a State Licensed Contractor.
William Murray: Superintendent
Bill brings thirty
eight years of construction experience to us and has been
with the company for one year. Bill takes a great deal of
pride in running each project on schedule without any
problems as he has had experience in planning several U.S.
Government projects as well as supervised numerous
Commercial projects and is very knowledgeable in computer
programs.
Jeffrey Adkins: Assistant Foreman
Jeff has been
with the company almost three years and has learned a lot
throughout his employment with us. We are very pleased to
have him on staff as he has a lot to offer on each project.
Project Management Staff
Andy Latham: Project Estimator
Mr. Andy Latham has 41 years experience in the
construction industry. He has been with us here at Southern
Building Services, Inc. for a total of 6 years. His
experience includes work as an estimator, superintendent,
contract negotiator and architect’s representative. Andy
has worked as a project manager and superintendent for both
government and private sector construction projects. He
holds a state-certified general contractors license and has
studied architectural engineering at the Wentworth
Institute in Boston Massachusetts. He has worked on
projects with over a $20,000,000 budget and his portfolio
contains projects from multi-family, hotels, office
buildings, warehouses and industrial complexes.
Andy has worked on projects from mid-rises of steel frame
and pilings with pre-stressed concrete decks to masonry,
frame and concrete tilt-up panels. He has also been a part
of design-build teams for churches and church related
facilities such as gymnasiums, family life centers and
schools.
Brian Sherron: Project Manager
Mr. Brian Sherron is a third-generation construction
professional that’s been with the company for eight years.
His upbringing in the construction industry has given him
the strong basic knowledge of all phases of commercial
construction. Brian has studied in blueprint reading, and
management classes and he is our state certified welder in
stainless steel, aluminum and steel for all metal
construction. Brian is a dedicated Project Manager, and has
excellent communication skills, which assist him in project
coordination and project scheduling.

Andrea Sherron : Office Manager & Marketing
Mrs.
Andrea Sherron has been with SBS, Inc. for almost
3 years and plays a vital role in the company. Andrea
brings a variety of skills to our team including
organization, determination, and strong attention to
detail. She handles the Marketing division for
SBS, Inc. and brings in projects for us to bid.
She handles the Owner billing and financial statements
for the company as well.
Lisa Schwab: Plan Coordinator
Ms.
Lisa Schwab has been with us for 1 year now and brings
several terrific skills to our team. Lisa brings
motivation, determination, and a can do attitude to SBS,
Inc. She coordinates the blue prints to our
subcontractors, owners, jobsites, and building
departments with a prompt manner. We are very
pleased to have her on board.
Jennifer Vigeant: Asst. Office Manager & Accounts
Payable
Ms.
Jennifer Vigeant has been with us for 1 ½ years now and
makes an excellent asset to our company, as she brings a
wide array of talents to our team. Jennifer is
extremely organized, knowledgeable in Accounts Payable,
and has great communication skills. She processes
all subcontractor’s pay requests and invoices, as well
as acts as a leader to the Administrative staff.
